Every bride deserves to look like a million bucks, but who really has thousands of dollars to spend on a wedding dress they'll likely only wear once?! Just like you hit up the Kate Spade and Michael Kors outlets for designer bags or stalk your favorite websites on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and New Year deals, you can do the same for discounted DESIGNER wedding gowns in Charlotte and surrounding areas. We teamed up with a few industry partners in Charlotte Wedding Connection to give you a tour of a few go-to places for designer gowns without the designer price tag.

if you can talk the girls into a 2 hour road trip to Simponsville, SC, Madison Carolina Bride could be the place you'll say yes to the dress. It's a small woman-owned boutique with about 400 dresses in inventory. The shop makes it a point to stock a range of gowns in the $400 to $600 price point.
All gowns at Jillan's Bridal Outlet in Hickory, NC are $699. It calls itself the bridal shop for cool brides who don’t subscribe to the stressful and ‘over-the-top’ stigma of wedding dress shopping. There are about 500 gowns in stock and sizes range from 0-26.
Ever's Bridal Boutique in Indian Trail, NC prides itself in providing white glove service to the everyday bride on the everyday budget. They work with all brides, all sizes , and all budgets. Bonus Fact: There's a sample sale on November 30th! Sample gowns will be the lowest price of the season with 40-80% off retail.

Here's another day trip for the bride tribe, this time in the Asheville area. None of the dresses are over $600 and sizes range from 0-32. The boutique keeps about 500 gowns in stock at a time.
The shop on South Boulevard in Charlotte has a room filled with sample dresses, many of which are under $500. However, still check out the dresses that are not on sale. Many of them still hover at the $1K price point are a little under.
This is a great boutique in Cornelius to check periodically for sales. They stock about 500 designer gowns, ranging from size 2-32. It's typically our go to place for brides who like the glitz, glamour and BLING.

Ladies of Lineage Bridal Boutique is hosting a sample sale at its Fort Mill location on Sunday, December 1st. More than 100 GOWNS can be found on $500, $1,000 and $1,500 bridal racks! David's Bridal is rolling out Black Friday Specials. Everything is 20% online November 27th-28th. The sale starts in the store on November 29th-December 1st. Select bridesmaid dresses will be 50% off!
Quite a few brides have mentioned checking out Lulu's for gowns, engagement and shower dresses.
Don't forget Facebook Marketplace. Not only can you find post ceremony gowns, but bride's are constantly posting dresses they can't fit or changed their minds about.
