With a personality as sweet as true southern sweet tea, laser focus attention to detail and impeccable work ethic, Holly McLelland, the name and face behind Delectables by Holly, is making moves and setting up shop in a new state of the art facility on Berryhill Road. Centrally located to Uptown, South End, Bank of America Stadium, Wesley Heights, and much more, Holly and her team are poised to take their impeccable service to an even higher level. For 25 years she's been the driving force behind a full service catering business that's lived by a mission to ensure clients receive the highest quality foods—at a fair and commiserate price—tastefully prepared and artfully presented.
DNA Affairs graciously accepted an invite to Holly's grand opening, and let's just say we're glad we pulled out the good Spanxx! From the beautiful Spanish Paella to the mouthwatering country ham biscuits (affectionately nicknamed crack biscuits) only the finest and freshest ingredients make it into the kitchen. As great as it was, the food was only part of the main attraction. The commercial kitchen, offices, bridal consult room are all immaculate! There's even a breast cancer tribute wall inspired by Holly's cousin who is in the fight of her life.
Every room and every picture in Holly's space has its own story. However, her personal story is one worth repeating over and over. During the tour, one of Holly's beautiful sisters told us proudly how Holly is a self-made woman, starting her business with just $200. It's amazing to see where she is now 25 years later, entertaining a crowd of at least 200 of her closest family, friends and clients in HER own facility that rivals others in the city.
